Cutolo CA, et al. - The clinical safety and efficacy of CO2 laser-assisted sclerectomy surgery (CLASS) with Mitomycin C (MMC) were comprehensively gauged by the authors in open-angle glaucoma (OAG). This procedure was proved to be clinically safe and effective in maintaining a large reduction in intraocular pressure (IOP) and in the number of IOP-lowering medications with a mean follow-up of 15 months.
