Prevalence of dyslipidaemia and risk factors in Chinese coal miners: A cross-sectional survey study

Fan Y, et al. – This cross–sectional study was performed to analyze the current epidemiological characteristics of dyslipidaemia among Chinese coal miners. Accumulated data showed a very high prevalence of dyslipidaemia among Chinese coal miners. Age, sex, marital status, monthly family income, type of work, length of service, smoking status, smoking index, drinking status, alcohol consumption per day, elevated fasting glucose, hypertension, obesity and abdominal obesity were the factors associated with dyslipidaemia.
