Prevalence of diabetic foot ulceration and associated risk factors: An old and still major public health problem in Khartoum, Sudan?

Almobarak AO, et al. – This paper entailed the identification of the prevalence of diabetic foot ulceration (DFU) and its related risk factors, in Sudanese individuals with diabetes. The data illustrated that its prevalence was 18.1 %. The risk of development of diabetic foot ulcer appeared to be increased with duration of diabetes more than 10 years.
