Sun C, et al. – The objective of this analysis was to assess prevalence and risk of metabolic syndrome (MetS) in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Collected data represented that the prevalence of MetS in patients with SLE was 26%. An increased risk of developing MetS was reported in patients with SLE than the control population.
