Prevalence and predictors of overactive bladder in nonpregnant nulliparous women below 65 years of age
International Urogynecology Journal Aug 11, 2017
Robinson D, et al. – The objective of this study is to explore the prevalence and predictors of overactive bladder in nonpregnant nulliparous women below 65 years of age. There were contrasting changes in the prevalence of the different symptoms included in overactive bladder (OAB). With increasing age and body mass index (BMI), the prevalence of nocturia, urgency and urgency incontinence (UUI) increased, while daytime frequency remained stable. These outcomes are of significance as the primary endpoint for the assessment of drug therapies for OAB has often been daytime urinary frequency.
