Shveiky D, et al. - Via performing this retrospective cohort study of all primiparous women who delivered vaginally, assessed from the Consortium on Safe Labor database including tertiary care university-affiliated urban hospitals, researchers described the prevalence and location of obstetric lacerations in adolescents. They analyzed a total of 9777 patients. Adolescent primiparous women had severe perineal obstetric tears less frequently, but labial and periurethral tears in higher rates.
