A fresh tissue–based preoperative surgical rehearsal was effectively implemented in the residency program. An improvement was noted in the resident confidence and perception of technique. The cadaveric simulation was found to be beneficial for all levels of residents. The implementation of this rehearsal served as an effective adjunct to surgical training at all skill levels in the current environment of decreased work hours.
