Pregnancy, pregnancy loss, and the risk of cardiovascular disease in Chinese women: Findings from the China Kadoorie Biobank

Peters SAE, et al. – An assessment was performed of the correlations of pregnancy, miscarriage, induced abortion, and stillbirth with cardiovascular disease (CVD) incidence among Chinese women. It was illustrated that increases in pregnancy and a history and recurrence of miscarriage, induced abortion, and stillbirth exhibited an association with a higher risk of CVD.
