European Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology and Reproductive Biology Jun 18, 2019
Andre H, et al. - Through a retrospective study, conducted in 10 of the 27 French oocyte donation centers in 93 pregnancies, the researchers targeted to screen pregnant women with Turner syndrome with a comprehensive cardio-vascular assessment before pregnancy, and have a close follow-up during and after pregnancy. Complications like gravid arterial hypertension, preeclampsia, and gestational diabetes were observed bringing out obstetrical complications of the same magnitude than the ones described in the literature. No cardio-vascular complications, conversely to other studies published before French and American recommendations were revealed over a period of 4 years, in 10 French oocyte donation centers.
