Derrett S, et al. – Analysts wanted to evaluate predictors of worse health status using modified Poisson regression analysis. Findings revealed same/better health 12 months later in most older dialyzing patients studied. Irrespective of whether hemodialysis or peritoneal dialysis, home–based dialysis was associated with reduced risk for worse health. In addition, older Pacific People reported better outcomes on dialysis therapy.
