Clinical Ophthalmology May 18, 2018
Yospaiboon Y, et al. - Researchers sought to assess the visual outcomes and probable predictive factors in the treatment of infectious endophthalmitis caused by Streptococcus species during 2012–2016 at a large referral eye centre in northeastern Thailand. Results demonstrated an association of streptococcal endophthalmitis with poor visual prognosis. Vision improved only in 20% patients after treatment.
