This scoring system developed to predict the risk of depressive symptoms in menopausal women relied on non-laboratory survey data. The system was simple, practical, and convenient to use. For depressive symptoms, the scoring system ought to be considered as a reliable screening tool for Chinese huge population of menopausal women.
