Predicting fracture risk in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease: A UK-based population-based cohort study

BMJ Open Apr 09, 2019

Akyea RK, et al. - In this population-based cohort study, researchers evaluated the incidence of hip fracture and all major osteoporotic fractures (MOF) in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) vs non-COPD patients, and assessed the use and performance of fracture risk prediction tools in COPD patients.
