Postdonation anemia in living kidney donors

Shah S, et al. - This study presumed that in living kidney donation, the remaining kidney volume and function after donation are determinants of hemoglobin (Hb) concentration and postdonation anemia (PDA). Findings revealed that PDA was prevalent following living kidney donation and donor kidney volume and predonation hemoglobin levels were identified as independent determinants for PDA.
