Archives of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery Jul 23, 2018

Oshima T, et al. - Researchers gauged the association between static balance and the incidence of non-contact anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in female high school athletes. As per data, a risk factor for non-contact ACL injury was a poor static balance. Compared to the uninjured players, significantly longer locus length per time was noted in injured players. However, in AR no statistically significant difference was noted between the two groups, AR tended to be larger in the ACL injured group.
