Plasma soluble CD36, carotid intima-media thickness and cognitive function in patients with type 2 diabetes
Archives of Medical Science Aug 17, 2017
Jiang X, et al. – This research aimed at investigating the associations of plasma soluble CD36 concentrations with carotid intima–media thickness (IMT) and cognitive function in patients with type 2 diabetes. A correlation was brought to light between soluble CD36 (sCD36) with carotid IMT. The carotid IMT displayed an inverse link with the cognitive function in the study cohort. However, there was no cross–sectional relationship between sCD36 and Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) scores.
