Akram Z, et al. - The intention of the authors was to appraise the efficacy of photodynamic therapy (PDT) in the treatment of symptomatic oral lichen planus (OLP). The findings demonstrated some effect in the symptomatic treatment of OLP through PDT, in adult patients. In order to obtain strong conclusions with regard to standardized PDT parameters and efficacy of PDT with steroid therapy, additional exploration was necessitated.
