Worni A, et al. - Experts evaluated the survival rate and the radiologic crestal bone level alteration around 4 interforaminal immediately loaded narrow-diameter implants (NDIs) in the edentulous mandible. They noted that in order to support prostheses in edentulous patients with a reduced horizontal mandibular bone volume, NDIs were seen to be a reliable alternative.
