Osteoarthritis and Cartilage Aug 16, 2017
Ansari MY, et al. – The researchers explored the expression and role of Parkin in the clearance of damaged/dysfunctional mitochondria, regulation of ROS levels and chondrocyte survival under pathological conditions. Investigations displayed that Parkin functions to eliminate depolarized/damaged mitochondria in chondrocytes which was essential for mitochondrial quality control, regulation of ROS levels and chondrocyte survival under pathological conditions.
