Palmeri NO, et al. - This study focused on the association of parathyroid hormone (PTH) with changes in cardiac electrical conduction and repolarization, independent of serum calcium. Researchers analyzed PTH and ECG data of acute coronary syndromes (ACS) survivors and found that elevated PTH was related to longer corrected QT interval in these individuals, independent of serum calcium concentration.
