Huml AM, et al. – A research was formulated to determine the outcomes of deceased–donor kidney offers and their association with characteristics of waitlisted patients and organ donors. As per observations, transplant centers frequently refuse deceased–donor kidneys. In this study, such refusals differed by patient and donor characteristics appeared to contribute to disparities in access to transplantation. In addition, these refusals varied greatly across transplant centers.
