Balla A, et al. - According to Meta-analysis of Observational Studies in Epidemiology guidelines, researchers conducted a systematic review to report and investigate the postoperative outcomes after rectosigmoid resection for endometriosis. Between 1998 and 2017, thirty-eight articles published were included. They enrolled three thousand seventy-nine patients in this investigation. According to the findings obtained, rectosigmoid resection is a feasible and safe technique to treat endometriosis regardless of the large and extremely various number of associated procedures.
