Outcome of revascularisation in stable coronary artery disease without ischaemia: A Danish registry-based follow-up study
BMJ Open Aug 29, 2017
Simonsen JA, et al. – This trial sought to compare the outcomes in patients without ischaemia, who underwent revascularisation or medical treatment. A higher risk was observed with revascularisation, despite adjustment for predictors of revascularisation, with normal myocardial perfusion scintigraphy (MPS). With fixed defects, the Revascversus Med difference was close to equipoise. No evidence justifying exceptional revascularisation was determined in patients with stable coronary artery disease (CAD) without ischaemia.
