Shah P, et al. – This study entailed the formulation of a non–contact technique to accurately determine the size of ulcer in patients affected by leprosy. It was discovered that the designed non–contact ulcer area calculating system using MATLAB was a reliable system for estimating the size of ulcers. The technique would aid in monitoring the progress of ulcer healing and would modify the therapeutic protocol if the need arose.
