Similar to several conventional synthetic disease modifying antirheumatic drugs, they were characterized by the convenience of oral administration. Increased number of therapeutic options were reported in recent years. Nevertheless, owing to the heterogeneity of the disease, personalized therapy ought to be provided for individual cases.
