Kato S, et al. - In sarcoidosis patients included in this study, the expression of neutrophil gelatinase-associated lipocalin (NGAL) and its ability to serve as a marker of disease activity and prognosis were assessed. Findings suggested that NGAL may be a useful marker to predict the disease course of sarcoidosis.
