Multimodal fundus imaging of outer retinal tubulations in choroidal osteoma patients
Retina Jan 26, 2018
Xuan Y, et al. - An inquiry was set up with regard to the morphological findings of outer retinal tubulations (ORTs) revealed by multimodal imaging modalities in patients with choroidal osteoma. The possible risk factors for ORT formation were as follows: Age, the greatest tumor linear dimension, total tumor area, decalcification area, and the presence of intraretinal fluid and retinal pigment epithelium alterations within the foveola and central 1-mm region. Comprehensive imaging information for ORTs in choroidal osteoma was provided by spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (OCT) combined with en face OCT.
