Morphological characteristics and human papillomavirus genotype predict the treatment response in cutaneous warts
British Journal of Dermatology Jan 26, 2018
Hogendoorn GK, et al. - Researchers undertook this study in order to speculate the type of human papillomavirus (HPV) in warts. Additionally, they aimed to predict which warts exhibited the tendency to disappear after treatment. Findings revealed that the chance of healing was affected by the appearance of warts and the type of HPV they contained. The medics were recommended to consider this finding during the selection of a treatment option for common and plantar warts.
