Mid-term evaluation of iStent inject trabecular micro-bypass stent implantation with or without phacoemulsification: A retrospective study

Silveira Seixas RC, Balbino M, Basile Neto A, et al. - In this longitudinal retrospective multicenter study, researchers sought to assess the 6-month performance and safety of micro-invasive glaucoma surgery with iStent inject either with or without cataract surgery. Complete data were involved from 86 eyes of 49 patients (both eyes in 37 patients and one eye in 12 patients). According to findings, either with or without cataract surgery, iStent inject implantation was able to safely minimize IOP and drug requirements by 6 months after surgery.
