Pronin S, et al. - The aim of this study is to determine whether patients with glaucoma can perform self-tonometry using a rebound tonometer and examine patient acceptability. Researchers realize that most patients can perform self-tonometry and the method is acceptable to patients. Self-tonometry can improve patient engagement in addition to providing a more complete picture of intraocular pressure (IOP) changes over time.
