Zia A, et al. - This paper encompassed an appraisal of the link between biomarkers of coagulation activation, inflammation, and fibrinolysis and adverse venous thromboembolism (VTE) outcomes in children and young adults. It was noted that elevated D-dimer, FVIII, and lupus anticoagulant displayed promising potential for predicting recurrent VTE and post-thrombotic syndrome (PTS) in children and young adults.
