Jalalzade H, et al. - The association between acute kidney injury (AKI) after ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm (RAAA) repair and long-term survival was assessed. AKI after RAAA repair was not significantly independently associated with long-term survival. At a later stage in life, only a small proportion of patients developed end-stage renal disease.
