Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery Jan 25, 2019
Ernstbrunner L, et al. - A total of 365 shoulders were studied for a mean follow-up of 9.5 years to assess the longitudinal evolution of midterm to long-term consequences of reverse total shoulder arthroplasty (RTSA) for cases with massive irreparable rotator cuff tears (miRCT). Authors reported improvement in active anterior elevation and abduction of the shoulder with no alteration in active external rotation. About 42% of the RTSAs were recorded with grade III or IV inferior scapular notching after 10 years.
