Long-term pediatric hematological morbidity of the early-term newborn
European Journal of Pediatrics Aug 12, 2018
Gutvirtz G, et al. - Researchers assessed the long-term hematological morbidity of early-term born children in this population-based cohort analysis by analyzing data of 223,242 term singleton deliveries. Compared with those born at later gestational ages, hematological hospitalizations were significantly more common in children delivered at early term. Results of this study suggested that pediatric long-term hematological morbidity of the offspring seems to be independently correlated with early-term delivery.
