Knee Surgery, Sports Traumatology, Arthroscopy Sep 13, 2018
Yabe Y, et al. - Among young baseball players, researchers elucidated the correlation between knee pain and lower back pain (LBP). They conducted a cross-sectional study with young baseball players (aged 6–15 years, n = 1,609) using a self-reported questionnaire. Findings suggested an association of knee pain with LBP among young baseball players. In order to prevent and treat LBP among these players, clinicians were suggested to pay attention. They noted the point prevalence of LBP and knee pain to be 8.4% and 13.1%, respectively.
