Kidney involvement in psoriasis: A case–control study from China

International Urology and Nephrology Oct 25, 2017

Ren F, et al. - This study aimed to determine the prevalence of urinary abnormalities in psoriasis patients. Also, researchers investigated if the abnormality is associated with the severity of psoriasis. Findings reported a more common prevalence of abnormal urinalysis in patients with psoriasis when compared with controls. Furthermore, a subclinical renal dysfunction in psoriasis patients may be indicated by the observed positive correlation between the prevalence of pathological albuminuria and psoriasis severity.
