Feng HL, et al. - The researchers conducted this trial for the purpose of analyzing the predictors of success, visual outcomes, and complications of intravitreal ocriplasmin for the treatment of symptomatic vitreomacular adhesion in a clinical care setting. It was determined that a successful pharmacologic vitreolysis with ocriplasmin, improvement in the visual outcomes and reduction in the likely complications could be brought about due to the proper case selection.
