Journal of Glaucoma Mar 31, 2019
Seol BR, et al. - In this case-control study, authors studied the early-postoperative intraocular pressure (IOP) changes and frequency of IOP spike following cataract surgery in normal-tension glaucoma (NTG) eyes vs nonglaucomatous eyes. They did not observe a significant difference in preoperative IOP between the 2 groups. They concluded a gradual decrease in IOP in the early postoperative period after cataract surgery with no significant difference between both the NTG and control groups.
