Intraocular pressure and visual field changes in normal-tension glaucoma patients treated using either unoprostone or latanoprost: A prospective comparative study

Takemoto D, et al. - A comparison was initiated of the isopropyl unoprostone and latanoprost drugs with regard to their effects on intraocular pressure (IOP) and visual field loss progression over a 3-year period, in normal-tension glaucoma (NTG) patients. There did not appear to be any substantial variations between the groups in terms of the visual field and structural progression in patients with NTG. However, unoprostone was found to be less effective than latanoprost in lowering the IOP.
