Alnawaiseh M, et al. – This research resolved to optimize the accuracy of intraocular lens (IOL) power calculations in patients after Descemet membrane endothelial keratoplasty (DMEK) by inspecting the effect of the altered anterior/posterior corneal curvature relationship. The findings exhibited that DMEK surgery induced a relevant variation in the anterior to posterior corneal curvature association. This had to be considered in the IOL power estimation to avoid hyperopic refractive surprises.
