Malinowski D, et al. – An analysis was pursued of Interleukin–21 (IL–21) and IL–21R polymorphisms in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA). The data revealed that IL–21 and IL–21R gene polymorphisms were not found to be risk loci for RA susceptibility. However, the IL–21 rs2221903 polymorphism exhibited a link with the disease activity.
