Tsai CH, et al. - Researchers, in this propensity score matched study, used the Longitudinal Health Insurance Database to determine if inhaled corticosteroids (ICSs) increased the risk of low-energy fractures in patients with chronic airway diseases. They found that an increased risk of fracture was associated with the use of medium and high doses of ICS.
