Jirajariyavej B, et al. - This study was performed to assess the impact of abutment material and ceramic thickness on the final color of different ceramic systems. Over the abutment background, increasing ceramic restoration thickness decreased the color mismatch. Rather than on titanium or white zirconia, increasing the thickness of ceramic on a yellow-shaded zirconia abutment yielded a more esthetic color for the whole restoration.
