Implant survival and function ten years after kinematically aligned total knee arthroplasty
Journal of Arthroplasty Aug 03, 2018
Howell SM, et al. - Authors evaluated the 10-year implant survivorship, yearly revision rate, Oxford Knee Score (OKS), and WOMACTM of the patients treated with a primary TKA. No adverse impact of the 10-year implant survival, yearly revision rate, and level of function, as well as no restriction on the preoperative deformity, was noted in the patients treated with kinematically aligned (KA) TKA with patient-specific instrumentation (PSI). They noted that at an average the ten-year OKS (48 best) and WOMACTM (0 best) were 43 and 7 points, respectively.
