Rosenthal VD - Via performing a meta-analysis, researchers sought to compare catheter-related bloodstream infection (CRBSI) rates in needle-free connectors vs three-way stopcocks. Searching Cochrane and MEDLINE, they included eight studies published from 01/01/2000 to 09/01/2018. Three-way stopcocks vs needle-free connectors were associated with statistically higher CRBSI risk.
