Reynard F, et al. - Authors ascertained the immediate and short-term impacts of shoulder kinesiotape (KT) on muscular activity, mobility, strength and pain after rotator cuff surgery. In a population of subjects who underwent rotator cuff surgery, findings suggested the potential of shoulder taping to decrease over-activity of the upper trapezius. But in this population no clinical benefits of KT on ROM, strength or pain were noted. They observed modifications in muscle activity KT and with sham tape (ST).
