Image registration reveals central lens thickness minimally increases during accommodation
Clinical Ophthalmology Sep 20, 2017
Schachar RA, et al. - This study encompassed the examination of the anterior chamber depth, central crystalline lens thickness and lens curvature during accommodation. A correlation was brought to light between a large increase in lens surface curvatures with only a small increase in central lens thickness and no change in lens position, during accommodation. This was disclosed by image registration, with stable invariant references for image correspondence.
