Hattori Y, et al. - Researchers evaluated the anxiety and depression experienced by patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) using EuroQoL 5-Dimensional Descriptive System (EQ-5D) and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) scores. In patients with RA, an independent factor associated with EQ-5D was the HADS score. As per data, in achieving better quality of life for patients with RA, the assessment of anxiety and depression is essential. HAQ-DI, general-VAS, disease duration, and worklessness were the factors that influenced the HADS score.
