HLA class Ia and Ib molecules and FOXP3+ TILs in relation to the prognosis of malignant melanoma patients
Clinical Immunology Sep 16, 2017
Nascimento W, et al. - This trial analyzed the expression of HLA class Ia and Ib molecules and FOXP3+ tumor-infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) as prognostic factors in patients with primary cutaneous melanoma (PCM). HLA-E, HLA-F and FOXP3 + TILs did not serve as prognostic factors in PCM. High HLA-ABC and HLA-G displayed a correlation with tumor aggressiveness and thereby, could be relevant predictive markers for effective immunotherapy of melanoma tumors.
