Pasternak B, et al. - This study was formulated in order to examine if oral fluoroquinolone use exhibited a link with an increased risk of aortic aneurysm or dissection. Findings illustrated that the use of fluoroquinolone appeared to be correlated with an increased risk of aortic aneurysm or dissection. This link was found to be largely driven by aortic aneurysm.
